Hot Seating

Hot seating: placing one person in role under scrutiny – usually done by seating the individual and directing questions at her/him from the group.

We interviewed our very own Mr Fox and the three farmers, Bunce, Boggis and Bean.

Mr Fox

How did you feel when the shovel came through your home?

” I wasn’t expecting anything like that to come through my home, it was frightening!” shouted Mr Fox.

“I was actually quite scared and my wife was running around crazily,” explained Mr Fox.

Was it hard digging with your injury?

“Not really but I forget it’s not there and try to wiggle it and then it hurts,” answered Mr Fox.

What did you think when the ground began to tremble like an earthquake?

“I was petrified because I thought my home would collapse!” exclaimed Mr Fox.

Why are you so mean to Mr Fox and his family?

“He is stealing my chickens,” Mr Bogis responded angrily.

Why don’t you keep yourselves clean?

“We don’t like washing ourselves,”  explained the three farmers.

Why can’t you share your chickens with Mr Fox?

“Because I will starve!” Boggis reported with his mouth full of chicken.

Do you think Mr Fox is clever?

“No! He is stupid because he is stealing our food and we will kill him!” aggressively shouted Bean.

Talent Show Auditions

The results are in…

Blyton class had a good variety of acts audition: magician, comedian, mathematicians, singing and dancing. The votes have been counted and the comedian goes straight through, followed closely by a singing and dancing act. The golden buzzer was used to put through another singing and dancing act.

Good liuck in the next round, which will be held after school, on Monday 2nd July.

Another Proud Moment!

This evening, several Year 3 children performed in the Players’ end of school year performance and they were amazing. Well done to you all! I was extremely proud and shed a few tears.

There is still time to get tickets for tomorrow’s 10am performance and Friday’s 6pm performance. The children have worked extremely hard and would love a big audience.

Office 365

We are now all proficient at opening and logging into Office 365. We have been emailing each other, opening attachments, creating word documents and sharing them. This week everyone has used Microsoft Forms to create a survey. Dahl and Rowling class wiill be completing our school life surveys and we will evaluate the results.

Year 3 Performers

We have so many talented children in year three…

Have you seen the posters in school?

Please come along and support the children who are performing in the drama production this week. Get your tickets from the school office for Wednesday 27th 6pm, Thursday 28th 10am or Friday 29th 6pm. They would love to see you in the audience.

Talent Show Auditions

It’s that time of year again… The excitement is building up around school as the children prepare for the talent show auditions. Blyton class auditions will be on Wednesday afternoon so you still have time to prepare something – good luck everyone!

Next week is looking to be very hot so don’t forget your hat, water bottle and sun cream.

Have a wonderful weekend all!
